The VB .NET Developers responsibilities include analysis, design, implementation and testing for software applications. Mid-Senior Level Developer responsibilities include the design, construction/coding, implementation, and production support of the corporate Internet, Intranet and/or Extranet sites, core business applications, and the development of .Net Web-based applications. Responsibilities: Planning, scheduling, building, and maintaining the companys internal and external Web sites Providing Web site support, application development, and related maintenance as priority items Leading and participating in design discussions and technical meetings Participating in all phases of the Web software development life cycle. Using and integrating with Web Content Management tools. Developing and supporting the corporate Web sites utilizing the .Net framework and SharePoint Working with business departments in a service-oriented capacity Using and supporting enterprise Web development standards. Education Requirements: Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science or equivalent experience in computer science or related discipline Required Skills: 3+ years hands-on development experience in Web design and development technologies Thorough understanding of the software development life cycle Excellent communication and team skills with the proven ability to multi-task Ability to provide 3rd level application support, including responding to support after business hours Experience with Architecture design strategies including UML, OOP, ERD, formal testing and deployment Experience with .Net Framework / Visual Studio.Net Experience with C#, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, AJAX, jQuery, Web Services, SSIS Experience with ASP/VBScript/JavaScript / Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) / XML/XSLT Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 and IBM DB2 Familiar with LDAP Technologies/Active Directory Experience in UX/UI design and mobile application/web site design a plus
