It is IL’s focus on quality and innovation for its customers and for the patients whose lives are touched by its products that is guiding the company into the next century.Clinical Data Analyst II Position SummaryThis person would be responsible for downloading Cartridge Data that has been called into Technical Service Group. They would download and on occasion communicate with TSG as to whether, based on criteria, if the instrument needs to come back or it is a cartridge issue. They would be responsible for meeting with TSG and QA when necessary to communicate any needs or changes on how the process should be conducted. This person would work with QA and the complaint team and attend weekly meetings conducted by the complaint team and communicate any information based on open calls. This person would be responsible for communicating with customers and/or IT departments in setting up VPN connections to download necessary information. This person would be responsible to communicate with the POC or team leader at the hospital if there is any issues with wrong serial numbers and or specific issues. Principal Duties & Responsibilities:•Down load Cartridge data based on the calls that were entered by TSG•Work with Customers in setting up VPN or Go Manage to obtain necessary data•Process the information collected to see if it is necessary to return the instrument or not. This will decrease the amount of instruments coming in and speed up the process of the QA complaint system•Work within the rules and regulations for down loading patient data and conduct themselves to working within the guidelines of the hospital and IL HIPPA agreements •Attend weekly meetings with QA and be a liaison between TSG and QA•Provide the ability to help QA process the complaints in the time frame that they have set forth as their goals•Able to provide Systems that are in place to house and access key health care information •Delivers data to customer specifications and timelines•Able to research new data sources and analytical tools to contribute to ways of downloading and improve product delivery and presentations•Coordinate, effective and efficient team work•Coordinate with QA and be able to perform Cartridge Triage•Assist CIT Team in Data Queue callsMinimum Skills & Knowledge Requirements:Completion of a two year technical degree in Information Technology or Health Care discipline or equivalent work experience with a minimum of one year experience required. Knowledge of Networking, VPN’s, TCP/IP protocols, within a health care environment. Experience providing remote technical support to a complex networked environment preferred and good communication skills.
