This team is challenged daily to provide cutting edge technology solutions to our clients.Primary Duties, Responsibilities, & Essential Job Functions:This task will support the requirements for conducting a Manpower, Personnel, and Training (MPT) Analysis (MPTA) and MPT Analysis Report (MAR) for the Distributed Common Ground System - Marine Corps (DCGS-MC) Acquisition Program.The scope of this work includes, but is not limited to the following:Define, design, and develop system requirements;Assess architecture and current hardware limitations;Define and design complex system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility;Coordinate the design of sub-systems and integration of the total system;Analyze and resolve difficult and complicated program support deficiencies;Conduct independent technical investigations of system designs;Coordinate and consolidate design efforts on major projects;Assist in delivering presentations to management and/or the customer;Provide functional and technical guidance to less experienced engineers in all aspects of engineering projects;Organize and lead assigned sections of major program reviews, design reviews, and proposalsAnalyze existing systems to define and develop MPT requirements;Support a Critical Task Analysis;Support a functional decomposition;Support a Job and Maintenance Task List analysis;Support a workload analysis;Support the development of work observation mechanisms;Support the development of functional workflows;Support the development of an Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) plan;Support the execution of an IV&V event;Coordinate and collaborate with System Engineers and Subject Matter Experts;Support the analysis and evaluation of user requirements to define problems, data availability, and system design issues;Support the definition of system objectives and the preparation of system design specifications;Support the analysis of alternate means of deriving input data to select the most accurate, feasible, and economical methods;Support the definition of input and output file specifications including file organization; Support the definition of controls, conversion procedures, and system implementation plans including user training, orientation, and manpower; andDocument, review, and provide recommendations to successfully complete a MPTA and MAR.Scientific Research Corporation offers a competitive salary, an extensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages excellence.
