Details: Location: Corporate Office Postal Code: 76102 Functional Area: FSC 95020 Field Systems Development First Open Date: 07/13/2012 Minimum Qualifications: •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. •Demonstrated ability to be a functional and technical expert for an application. •Working knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle. •Excellent oral and written communications. •High attention to detail, accurate and thorough. •Ability to adapt and change in a fast paced environment, and capable of meeting deadlines. •Capacity to function effectively and professionally in teams, displaying high work ethic. •Ability to grasp technical concepts quickly and translate business requirements into useful user text. •Available for after-hours support on a rotating basis. Skills Required: •Proficiency with MS Office applications and MS Windows utilities, commands and file structures. Beginner level programming ability. Sample qualifications would include: oDatabase programming such as Oracle PL/SQL oData analysis with intermediate to complex ad-hoc SQL scripts •Experience (0-1 years) with cross-platform software implementations. •Experience (0-1 years) with relational databases. •Point of Sale support experience. •Outstanding organization, analytical and problem solving skills. Additional Skills Desired: •Beginner level experience with Object Oriented Development languages (C#, Java, VB.NET, etc). •Experience using TOAD or similar database tools. Principal Duties: The primary role of the Technical Analyst in the Production Support group is to support and maintain the Cashlinx point of sale application. The Analyst is both a functional and technical expert for the application and will diagnose and fix defects reported from both QA and production users. The Analyst works with the all groups connected with the development and deployment of the Cashlinx application. Each of those groups (Development, QA, Shop System Support and Business User) should be able to look to the Analyst for directions and confirmation regarding reproduction defects as well as suggestions on design and development of new functionality. The Analyst should be able to react quickly to changing business needs and be able to adjust priorities accordingly.
