Principal Duties: The primary role of the Technical Analyst in the Production Support group is to support and maintain the Cashlinx point of sale application. The Analyst is both a functional and technical expert for the application and will diagnose and fix defects reported from both QA and production users. The Analyst works with the all groups connected with the development and deployment of the Cashlinx application. Each of those groups (Development, QA, Shop System Support and Business User) should be able to look to the Analyst for directions and confirmation regarding reproduction defects as well as suggestions on design and development of new functionality. The Analyst should be able to react quickly to changing business needs and be able to adjust priorities accordingly.
