In the team’s efforts, you will be responsible for leadership aspects of certain elements of the applications / components. Therefore, leadership ability and experience as well as subject matter expert knowledge in several technologies is expected. ettain group has an immediate Contract to Hire opportunity for a Senior Systems Test (Quality Assurance) Engineer in the Raleigh / Durham, NC area. Required Experience / Qualifications:• Must have expertise of software test methodology• Demonstrated expertise and experience in test plan and test report development and documentation• Demonstrated expertise and experience in test scripting and/or automation (including any of the following: PERL, Tcl, C, Python)• Demonstrated expertise and experience with test tool configuration and operation• Knowledge of detailed configuration commands for a wide variety of equipment• SME (Subject matter expert) level knowledge of three or more of the following technologies:o IP over SATCOMo IP Routing and Switchingo Voice over IPo Video over IPo IPSec and Strong encryptiono Software application virtualizationo Network Access Authenticationo Network Managemento ATM Switchingo Virtualized Data Center• Strong personal skills in teamwork, team-building, and direct customer interaction Required Education:• Four-year college degree in Computer Science (or similar), or equivalent experience Preferred Certifications/Professional Development:• Experience working with Spirent Test Center (enterprise and datacenter network testing tool) • TCP/IP Network training• Any Cisco Network Certifications such as a CCNA Other Requirements/Information:• No relocation or interview expenses will be covered—candidates should already be local or willing to cover their relocation / interview expense.
