The Programmer Analyst also modifies existing and creates new systems for specific business needs in either a support or project capacity. This contract-to-hire opportunity is a great way to get your foot in the door at a solid company.Responsibilities Heavy programming, development, and use of data tools. Modify existing and/or create new programs for projects or support work. Document system features and functionality that support the project initiatives. Help to define test case scenarios and test data criteria for assigned projects or support. Perform testing of coding modifications. Coordinate user testing, user training, documentation development, as needed. Assist with analysis of user support issues for root cause and recommended resolution. Provide periodic updates on projects and user support issues. Assist with developing project & business requirement estimates. Assist with communication to the IS Applications Group. Presentation of new applications Announcements of program enhancements Participate in project lessons learned and follow up with users. Adhere to the Agile approach to project management to ensure a consistent project approach. Work with user community to improve and enhance the business processes and applications.
