He/She leads a small team of support statistical programmers to accomplish tasks and communicate issues to senior management as necessary. The Senior Analyst III, Statistical Programming provides input to policy, operations, and capability building in Statistical Programming and Operations. He/She leads cross-functional teams to implement policy, operations, and capability initiatives. He/She develops and implements standard programming practices while also ensuring that they are employed across studies and programs. APPLICATION SYSTEM / ANALYST PROGRAMMER SR. (EMR App Sys)

Details: EMR Application Systems Department Meadowmont Building Full-Time, Days This position is for a Senior Programmer/Analyst with Java and PHP experience to support the development of new Lime Survey functionality and maintenance of our EHR system. The Senior Programmer/Analyst will work with other team members using an Agile process in developing requests and enhancements, as well as analyze and correct system issues. This is a development role working with User Engagement, Project Management, Testing, and Implementation. Primary Duties, Responsibilities, Accountabilities: Implement and Develop LimeSurvey. Apply deep technical insights and experience to inform, guide, and support production issues and failures. Use test-driven development methods to ensure ongoing quality of all new application code. Conduct code reviews with other developers to ensure a high standard of quality and maintainability of new code. Train users and fellow developers on how to use and develop LimeSurvey. Create PHP deployment strategy. Produce high-level application design documents. Handle multiple demands, using own initiative to meet deadlines and set priorities without close supervision. Work schedules may include some after hours and weekend assignments based on project demands. Keeps management informed of activities through status reporting or other means. Communicates honestly, clearly and openly. Performs other job related functions as required or requested.Preferred candidate will have the following qualifications: 5+ years of applications development using Java, JEE, PHP, XML, XSLT, SOAP, ReST, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS. 5+ years of application support experience. 5+ years of relational database and SQL syntax experience. Must be able to work under pressure on multiple assignments. Strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams. Strong sense of ownership of the end result. Excellent spoken and written English, clear oral communication skill. Excellent technical writing and documentation skills. Healthcare Industry experience preferred. College degree or equivalent experience.

Statistical Programmer

Details: Client is seeking candidates for a Statistical Programmer in Ridgefield, CT. This is a 12 month renewable contract role.Responsibilities Include: Utilizes SOPs and guidelines, trial protocols, annotated case report forms, Oracle*Clinical study definitions, trial and project data handling rules and standards, and Statistical Analyses Plans in preparation for the programming of the Data Quality Review Plan (DQRP) and the safety and efficacy tables, listings and graphs (TLG) required for the Clinical Trial Report (CTR) and the associated Analyses Data Sets (ADS).  Gains specific knowledge about the users' environment, data, software and hardware needs Produce well documented validated standard and non-standard edit check and monitoring programs to support the clinical trial team to ensure the integrity, accuracy and completeness of the data in preparation for clinical reporting. Review the programming specifications and table mockups in the Trial/Project/Substance Statistical Analyses Plan (T/P/S/SAP) for completeness, correctness and adherence to sited department guidelines and SOPs.  Ensure all programming issues are resolved and updated in the T/P/S/SAP. Ensure additional specifications once programming commences are properly documented. Transform specifications in the Trial/Project/Substance/ Statistical Analyses Plan (TSAP) into fully documented, validated programs supporting both safety and efficacy displays and Analyses Data Sets (ADS) required for the Clinical Trial Report.  This includes: standard displays that require complex data building programming prior to the call of a standard macro; moderate to complex safety displays unable to use a standard macro that are well specified by the trial team; efficacy displays that require a moderate amount of applied statistics knowledge in order to produce a well documented validated efficacy program; and the creation of Analyses Data Sets (ADS) that may require the application of statistical methods.  Provide support for the electronic submission to regulatory agencies worldwide.  This may include the preparation of safety and efficacy data files, application programs, electronic documentation and user manual.  Performing validation activities to ensure the quality of the electronic submission. Establish project and substance databases following the rules of good data base structure and data base integrity. The structure of the data base must support the execution of the standard safety macros. Provide fully documented, validated programs utilizing project or substance data bases in support of integrated reporting for regulatory agencies, Investigator Brochures (IB), Monitoring Committees, etc. Help maintain libraries of fully documented and validated programs, macros and procedures which can be reused by other programmers to aid in the efficiency for the department. 1-3 years exp supporting clinical trials
