Senior Business Analyst Role: Position works in conjunction with Program and Project Managers, IT and Business leaders, to deliver business and technical requirements as well as provide SDLC support for IT programs/projects Job Responsibilities Assists in definition or re-clarification and validation of project scope Assists with project kick off documentation and meetings Owns the requirements gathering process Runs and manages business and technical requirements gathering sessions (JAD sessions) Documents all (business and technical) requirements and obtains business and IT sign off. Coordinates test plan creation with the business and test leads Creates traceability matrixes to ensure requirements are properly translated into test cases/use cases Participates in test results meeting and executes traceability activities to determine cause of bugs, systems errors and failures during testing Documents, coordinates and organizes production readiness Supports project through all production and post-production milestones as necessary Assists PM with project team meetings Manage requirements gathering for IT portfolio projects Work with business management and IT project management in supporting the business goals by researching and assessing business needs, establishing clear project requirements and associated project goals. Execute Systems & Integration testing Responsible for the delivery of: Project Kick off Document (to be completed with Project Manager) Finalized scope document High Level Business Requirements Detailed Business Requirements Technical Requirements Traceability Matrix Production Readiness Document Meeting Minutes Manage documentation repository(Worksite) Provides support for Production applications: issue analysis; coordination with business to define issue; coordination with Technical team to resolve; verification of resolution
