Details: Overview:Provide on-going support and training for business processes in SAP Materials Management and Plant Maintenance functions. The individual in this role collaborates with users and other key stakeholders to provide training courses on the standard process and support the day to day activities related to the Asset Reliability & Reporting Optimization Program (AAROP). It is necessary for the resource to be able to understand the users issues and requirements, assess SAP functionality, develop solution options that will be analyzed for continuous improvement The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that PM and MM functions are being used in a standard and consistent manner across the organization. The individual will also be involved in the training of our user community.Perform tasks such as gathering requirements, process mapping, functional design, solution blueprinting, module configuration, data conversion, ongoing support, training and testing.Essential Functions:Deep knowledge of the SAP PM module and functions including integration with MM, FI/CO, and other required SAP functionsPerform SAP functional activities throughout development and lifecycle, maximizing the use of standard SAP practices and the standardized structures identified by our organizationGathers requirements; coordinates and participates in solution design and implementation activitiesUnderstands the purpose, roles and activities related to a solution, participates in applying this technique to facilitate application design and implementationSupport the testing of solution and work with the business team to obtain completed user acceptance documentation Proficient in data extraction, interface and migrationEstablish procedures to create technical specifications from business requirements and functional specification, translating business terms into SAP termsPerform troubleshooting and quality assessmentsAssist in creating and modifying strategies to resolve problems and document results Provide updates to both IT management and business leaders as it related to the Plant maintenance disciplineEstablishes credibility at all levels within the client and builds problem-solving partnerships with the IT and business colleagues
