Details: Schedule Required: Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm Special Info: This postion may be based in Wilmington, DE OR Richmond, VA Competency Category: Analytical Technical PURPOSE The Learning Technologies Systems Developer will oversee the development, integration and maintenance of all Training and Development technologies. This position will write new modules for our existing Learning Management System (LMS), develop critical integration with HR and vendor applications, and create online help documents and forms for our AAAUniversity site. This mission critical role is responsible for ensuring continuous operation of the LMS to serve the learning needs of AAA Mid-Atlantic Associates. This position works closely with the IT departments, eBusiness, content developers, e-Learning, training staff, and ACP. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESManage data integrity audits of the Learning Management System. Design LMS solutions for complex training programs that can provide a good student experience while fulfilling business requirements. Report to the Learning Technologies Manager, and partner with Learning Technology team members. Architect, oversee the creation of and document large programs in the LMS and AAAUniversity. Serve as the LMS documentation professional to provide Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) content and coordinate training on new processes. Define, document and institute processes to maintain data integrity within the LMS. Establish and implement corrective procedures to address audit findings. Establish processes to incorporate QA testing on LMS and AAAUniversity enhancements. Recommend approaches to increase end learner usability to teams developing LMS requirements ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Systems Development - 30%Contribute to the software development/implementation relative to the LMS infrastructure for Associate development and training, needs assessments, communications and technical support as necessary. Help create, manage, and enforce LMS system standards, policies, and procedures. Work with IT to manage integration and data transfer of the LMS with other enterprise applications such as HR, eBusiness and network security. Participates in evaluation of IT capabilities, needs, requirements, installation & recommends systems & network tasks related to Learning Technology systems needs. Systems Maintenance – 30%Maintain LMS and AAAUniversity configuration and user interface look-and-feel. Upload or set up systems for uploading assessments, evaluations, and content to the LMS. Monitor usage and performance of the LMS and AAAUniversity. Help plan and coordinate Learning Technologies system upgrades as required. Helps manage system maintenance updates, security updates, LMS database maintenance, system backups. Participates in the quality assurance process to ensure the accuracy and integrity of all information and data residing in the LMS. Works closely with IT and customer service areas to coordinate help desk requests and ensure data backup integrity. Course Integration – 25%Daily management of tasks associated with the implementation and ongoing administration of the Learning Management System (LMS) Works closely with the eLearning Designers to test, publish, and manage online training content. Provide technical support to internal LMS users. Work with other Learning Technologies staff to manage the catalog of online, blended and other learning resources, including scheduling. Act as secondary liaison between online learning management and staff developers and IT to ensure effective management and delivery of the LMS and AAAUniversity. Administrative – 15%Ensure availability of appropriate LMS reporting to managers and other designated individuals. Serves as a Level 2 technical support for eLearning courseware deployed within the LMS and other systems used by Training and Development. Responsible for online and offline LMS documentation changes as a result of LMS functionality enhancements.
