Desktop Support Technician 3rd Shift

Panther is currently Seeking a Desktop Technician to support our users on the 3rd shift.  The position will be located at our corporate headquarters in Seville, OH.  This person must be available to train on 1st Shift, and work independently when switching to 3rd.  This individual will be responsible for both desktop, and helpdesk support.  This is an hourly position that will have Overtime Available. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate of an IT program looking for their first opportunity. Monitor and maintain corporate servers. Helpdesk support as required Provide technical advice and support to system users Installs hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and laptop/ desktop on users’ premises Provides updates, status and completion information to manager and/or users, via voicemail, e-mail or in-person communication Escalates major hardware/software problems to senior IT staff Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies Performs other duties as required Document resolution in ticket tracking software Strong organizational, presentation, and customer service skills
