IT Network Analyst (Normal, IL)

Details: The Network Analyst will be responsible for providing technical support for the local and wide area networks; using a variety of application and operating systems at CIT Group, Inc.  The Analyst will configure, maintain and evaluate the hardware and systems in use to maximize efficiency for users’ utilization.  He/She will report to the IT Manager and other managerial personnel who will evaluate information at periodic intervals. Duties and Responsibilities: Actively participate in meetings by preparing input and suggestions with core work. Plan, coordinate and implement the network security measures to protect data, software and hardware. Assume responsibility for monitoring network performance to determine adjustments needed and to evaluate future usage. Design, configure and test computer hardware, networking software and operating systems software. Analyze information and evaluate results to choose highest quality information to relay to management. Monitor and report licenses on applications to ensure compliance on a monthly basis. Assist in gathering bid prices on equipment and supplies as needed. Provide remote troubleshooting to end users’ desktop and network application and operating systems. Assist in system installations, daily system backups, maintenance and problem solving.
