Details: Telecommute:   Experience:  5 - 8 years Compensation: $70.00 - $90.00 per hour Degree:  BA/BS Compensation:   CCCi has an immediate 6 month + Tivoli NetCool contract to work with a Fortune 100 Best Company to work for in Atlanta, Georgia. The Tivoli NetCool Consultant will provide infrastructure management, product maintenance, configuration, customization, product integration and on-going support to maximize the product functionality to provide management of the telecom and computing infrastructure. This person will also provide development consulting for new infrastructure management requests. Tivoli NetCool Consultant Job Responsibilities:• The primary responsibility will be the administration/maintenance/configuration/customization/product integration/support of IBM Tivoli NetCool. • Additional responsibilities include maximizing product functionality and development consulting for new infrastructure management requests. • Maintain specialized management application(s) by leveraging support groups to identify proactive and reactive matrix for maintaining the infrastructure. This can include writing in-house applications as needed.• Identify, develop, validate and document work processes that increase team effectiveness• Build and maintain strong partnerships and relationships with other support groups across Information Technology.• Provide second-level support to other areas, both within and out of IT• Diagnose and resolve client problems within service level time frames• Develop work plans and manage daily work efforts to meet project target dates and deadlines• Provide and demonstrate leadership skills to other business functions• Develop and maintain good client relationships at all levels• Communicate progress, problems and best practices to management, leads and teammates• Adaptability and drive to learn new management tools Tivoli NetCool Consultant Skills Summary• 5+ years of experience with Tivoli NetCool • 5+ years of experience with SNMP • 5+ years of experience with Perl programming language• 3+ years of Shell scripting and Logmatrix NerveCenter • Network and systems administration experience Tivoli NetCool Consultant Nice to have skills:• Substantial knowledge of network management systems specifically Open Services Nervecenter, development of Nervecenter behavior models• Microsoft Systems Center Operations Manager• CA eHealth• Ciena Metro Switch Manager• Megasys Telenium• HP SA• HP NA• HP Sitescope • CA Autosys• Cisco Operations Manager• Microsoft Orchestrator• Visual Basic• Powershell• XML
